If the two of you like the fine arts, audition for roles in a local community theater. You may like to travel, arrange for a short trip to some place exotic that you have never been before.

On a hot summers day, buy two large water pistols and take them to the beach with you. Pull them out and throw one to your partner and then have a huge water fight.
