Divorce: When Do You Know It's Time
Sometimes, no matter how hard you try or what you do, you have to ask yourself if it is time for a divorce. We never marry thinking of a divorce, in fact, we marry thinking the exact opposite that it will last forever. However, forever is a long time and we have no real way of knowing the future. Sometimes, a divorce is coming and we just have to face it, whether we like it or not.
So, how do you know it's time for a divorce?
There are several things you can look for, while they may not necessarily signify that there is no chance of reconciliation, it will signify that there is a definite problem and you have to consider your options.
Lack Of Communication
Do you and your spouse come home from work and simply ignore each other? You may get past the niceties, the hello's and good byes, but is there anything more than that? Do you find that you hate talking to your spouse and won't say a word if you can avoid it? This is a definite sign of a problem. When you start coming home and sitting in separate rooms, never talking it is time to examine the problem.
Constant Fighting
Do you find that you and your spouse are fighting over even the most trivial things? Do things such as leaving a towel on the floor or failing to empty the coffee pot turns into a full-blown fight? Again, when this is the case, it might be time for a divorce. If everything your spouse does or vice versa annoys you to the point that it turns into a screaming match, you need to look at your options.
Are You In Love?
Are you still in love or are you in comfort? Do you really love the person that you live with and are married to? Have you or even considered cheating? Do you find that you regardless of what your spouse says that you simply do not care and just want away from them? This could signify that it is time for a divorce.
Divorce is never easy, it is not something we ever want to think about. However, sometimes in order for both of you to live a healthy and happy life it is necessary.
