Relationships – Are We Finally Growing Up?

The Stearns Family Dale and I went to Cancun during the week between Christmas and New Years and spent a great time with 4 of my 6 siblings.  We met with our spouses and some of the children and a couple of grandchildren for a great 7 days.

We did a variety of activities and spent a lot of time in a huge van with my family and while I'm sure that there were some uncomfortable moments for some of us, there was never a major mixup between any of us.  Maybe I was oblivious to any disagreements, if there were any but I'm usually unaware about most things anyway.

Maybe we are growing up?  After all the oldest will soon be 60 and the youngest will be 50 in a few years so it is about time.  But I have to admit that I had a wonderful time with my brothers and sisters and their spouses and my two nephews and my brother-in-laws daughter, boyfriend and children.  There have been other times, in the past, where there have been hurt feelings or someone felt shunned or put upon but this time, I think it all went well.

I'd like to thank my youngest sister Lisa and her husband, Jesus for their great hospitality as it is great to have someone in the tourist industry to show you around.
