Relationship & Romantic Tip #9

romance & relationship tipsRomantic Tip #9

Develop a video time capsule. Start with the two of you sitting together on a couch introducing the video. Say something like, "It is currently August 21, 2007 and we have decided to make this video so that we can watch it together on our 40th wedding anniversary."

Then have a section where you talk to the camera by yourself, telling the camera how you feel about your partner and why you love her. Get her to do the same thing. When you are done, place the video in a bank vault and on your 40th wedding anniversary you will be able to look back in time and reminisce about everything that you have shared.

Relationship Tip #9

The Grass is NOT Greener!

Too many times, people get tired of working on the relationship they are currently in and feel that by moving on to another person, they will find greener pastures and this is just not the case. What happens is when you move to another person, things are fresh, new, and exciting just as they were in the beginning of your current relationship.

After awhile, that relationship will also start experiencing difficulties just as your current relationship is having. Unless you are currently being abused or your mate is doing something illegal or is completely irresponsible, maybe the effort you would put into starting a new relationship would be better spent fixing the relationship that you have.
