Relationship and Romance Tip #11

romance & relationship tipsRelationship Tip #11

No Place for Abuse

Regardless of how much you love your spouse/significant other and believe in who they are, there is NEVER, EVER an appropriate time for abuse, whether physical, emotional, or verbal.

If your spouse/significant other shows aggression or any form of abuse toward you, seek counseling for both of you immediately to try to work through things. If your spouse/significant other refuses to go, even if it is hard, leave. First you must take into account your safety. Second, it is possible for people to learn ways in which to manage their aggression in a more positive manner through anger management classes. If this can be done, the life of the relationship has a much better chance of surviving.

Romance Tip #11

If you are artistically inclined, take a life drawing course, practice until you are confident and then ask your spouse/significant other to pose for you. It will show that you desire to create something special for the both of you. While you may not be the greatest artist in the world, you will create a one of a kind memento of your life together. You may be able to take the class at your local college or community education program.
